To replace the battery, follow these steps:
Remove the device from your meter. It is not necessary to remove the device from within the mobile application.
Risk of data loss
Deleting a device in the mobile application will clear the internal memory of the device, including its readings! Make sure that this is the desired effect before attempting.
insert a new CR2032 battery into the cavity in the housing on the side of the device, press it and turn it. The upper part of the casing should pop out from the latches.
- lift the old battery with your finger and remove it. In case of problems, you can use a tool such as a coin or a small screwdriver.
- insert a new CR2032 battery.
- if the device's LED has started to light up (see LED), close the case.
if the device was previously installed on the meter, put it back on the optical port and synchronize with the mobile application.
Battery replacement safety
Replacing the battery does not remove the device's pairing with your energy meter or OneMeter account, nor does it remove readings from its internal memory.
